Electrical Technician
Employee Type: Full-Time (Non-Office)
Education: Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology or technical training equivalent to an associates degree a plus
Relevant Work Experience: Up to 1 Year experience in electrical field preferred
Wages: $50,000+; DOE
Travel Required: Occasional Out-of-town work within North Dakota and Minnesota; company vehicle provided, if overnight stay is required lodging and meal allowance provided.
Working Hours: 8:00AM to 4:30PM (30 minute lunch and two 15 minute breaks per day)

Job Responsibilities

Perform a variety of complex technical functions related to operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of integrated control systems.

Read and understand electrical and control schematics, process and instrumentation drawings and technical manuals.

Interpret specifications used in designing, maintaining and calibrating electronic systems and components.

Determine sequence of operation, perform layout, fabrication, assembly, installation and testing.

Prior knowledge of building automation systems preferred.

Able to work in construction environment.

Communicate effectively and efficiently.

Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

Maintain ND Electrical Apprentice, or better, License. Fees and other expenses related to this license is the personal responsibility of the employee.

Maintain MN Power Limited License for MN. Fees and other expenses related to this license is the personal responsibility of the employee.

Clean driving record required.
