About the Role
The System Integrator/Service Technician is responsible for programming, maintaining and managing building automation and automatic temperature control systems. This position is for new construction, remodel, and service work within education, commercial, healthcare, and government buildings. We appreciate our military veterans.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Knowledge/understanding of internet protocols.
Knowledge/understanding of logic (IF/AND/OR/XOR).
Ability to use hand tools and climb ladders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to adjust communication approach to meet customers' varying levels of expertise.
Willingness to perform physical labor.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Creating building automation system graphical user interfaces using a prebuilt library.
Programming PLCs using function block code.
Troubleshooting and analyzing HVAC systems.
Wiring field devices (actuators/sensors) to PLCs and verify controllability.

The position is in-office; not a work-from-home position. Work location is approximately 60% on-site, 40% in-office, with travel typically less than 140 miles from Fargo. Climate Control provides on-the-job training, continuing education and promotes cross-training.
