About the Role
The Building Automation Technician is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of building automation and automatic temperature control systems. This includes working with a variety of equipment that controls HVAC/R, such as air handling units and variable air volume boxes. This position is for new construction, remodel, and service work within education, commercial, healthcare, and government buildings. We appreciate our military veterans.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Education or Training in HVAC/R or Electrical Technology.
Ability to use hand tools.
Ability to climb ladders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Install conduit and cable.
Mount electronic controllers and sensors.
Physical troubleshooting and analyzing HVAC systems.
Electronic verification of building automation system via tablet/smartphone/computer.
Electronic documentation of work performed.
Verbal communication with the team is essential.

The position is 98% on-site, 2% in-office, with travel typically less than 140 miles from Fargo. Climate Control provides on-the-job training.
